Most people don't arrive at therapy because they're weak.
They arrive because they've been strong for far too long.
They've carried responsibilities, expectations, disappointments, grief, anxiety, self-doubt, relationship challenges, or emotional pain quietly and consistently — often without realising how heavy that weight has become.
Lightwork Therapy was created for those moments.
The moments when you're ready to stop simply surviving and begin understanding yourself more deeply.
Lifelong student of human behaviour and emotional wellbeing.
My journey into psychology wasn't something I had planned from the beginning. It started in a very different place: working with clients experiencing gut health challenges, PCOS, and hormonal imbalances through my nutrition practice. That was where I saw firsthand how deeply the gut-brain connection shapes our emotional state.
As I listened to their stories, I noticed emotional patterns appearing beneath physical symptoms: stress, resentment, unforgiveness, and relationship difficulties. I realized that to support them fully, I needed to help them navigate the emotional side of healing.
This realization became a calling. I pursued my Master's Degree in Counselling Psychology to study how our thoughts, relationships, and nervous systems shape our daily lives. Today, I bring these worlds together to offer holistic, compassionate support for lasting inner change.
"You were never broken.
You were always becoming."
Many of the challenges we face aren't created solely by what's happening around us today.
They are often influenced by experiences we've carried for years.
Therapy isn't about fixing who you are.
Because you were never broken.
It's about creating enough awareness to understand what has been shaping your thoughts, emotions, behaviours, and relationships — and deciding whether those patterns still serve the life you're trying to build.
When awareness grows, possibilities grow with it.
Many people seek support because they're experiencing anxiety, stress, relationship conflict, burnout, or emotional overwhelm. While those experiences are very real, they often point toward something deeper.
At Lightwork Therapy, we take a holistic approach to emotional wellbeing — exploring not only what you're feeling, but also:
The experiences that shaped your current emotional landscape, traced with curiosity and care.
Unhelpful beliefs we carry without question that silently shape how we see ourselves and others.
The cycles and behaviours that feel automatic — and learning which ones no longer serve you.
Together, we work toward lasting emotional resilience — not simply temporary relief.
I believe everyone deserves access to a space where they can think openly, feel honestly, and be met with understanding rather than judgment.
My goal is to help clients develop both short-term tools and long-term strategies that support emotional balance, healthier relationships, and a greater sense of confidence in navigating life.
Because therapy isn't just about feeling better. It's about building the skills that help you continue growing long after our sessions end.
A world where seeking support is seen as a strength rather than a last resort.
A world where emotional wellbeing receives the same attention and care as physical health.
And a world where people feel empowered to understand themselves with greater compassion and curiosity.
Every person deserves to feel heard, respected, and understood.
Healing begins when we can show up honestly — as we are, not as we think we should be.
Change is possible when we approach ourselves with awareness, courage, and consistency.
A strong therapeutic relationship is built on safety, transparency, and mutual respect.
Understanding ourselves often begins with asking different questions rather than searching for immediate answers.
Your experiences, thoughts, and feelings deserve a space that honours privacy and trust.
